Absolutely stunning pair of "Lotus" table lamps by Carlo Nason for Mazzega. Each lamp features four layers of hand-blown glass infused with small bubbles, mounted on a round brass base. The result is beautifully filtered, layered light in a softly rounded sculptural form. A compelling example of Italian glass. Each lamp uses one standard-base bulb; switch on cord. Italy, circa 1970s. 18-1/4" in diameter x 17-1/4" h. Excellent condition; newly re-wired; no chips or cracks to the glass; minor lacquer loss to brass bases resulting in scattered dark spots; this minor wear does not detract from appearance.
