Striking trio of cylindrical vases covered in raised studs in a glossy white glaze, by Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) for Rörstrand, designed in 1951. Each stamped on the bottom with the Rörstrand "R" logo, "Sweden" and "GN" initials. Nylund was one of the best-known Swedish ceramic designers of the 20th century, and worked at the Rörstrand factory from the early 1930s through the mid-1950s. His work is in the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. Sweden, circa 1950s. Small vase, 4" in diameter x 6" h; tall and narrow vase, 4" in diameter x 9" h; tall and wide vase, 5-1/2" in diameter x 8-3/4" h. Excellent condition; no damage.
